Make sure you have a 5.1 or above sound card before you buy speakers like these and make sure know where to place them :DThere's nothing major in cons, except that the screen covering the speakers are really thin and can rip easy. These speakers blow my house out. The faceplate of the speakers and the rubber footholds on the bottom come off pretty easy too so watch out for that.Other than that these speakers are the best for the money.Shipping was on time, excellent packaging and exactly as they listed it. The sub is intense; very powerful and the 5 surround sound speakers are so clear. When the speakers are turned up high, the sound does not crack and the decibel can be deafening. everything was neatly and tightly wrapped inside of a giant white box, which was in a bigger box. price was great for this product and i hope to buy from them again.
While these speakers are only 70 watts you certainly would not know it by their great big, full and rich sound. But this Logitech X-530 system hooked up to my computer and sending music through Windows Media Player or Pandora you absolutely give up no quality in the sound department. While writing this review I'm listening to music by Kitaro on Pandora and the sound is superb. I'm a little spoiled as I have an Onkyo 7.1 1000 watts surround sound system that can make the dust fall out of the rafters. No squeaking or odd and annoying vibrations just good clear and powerfully good sound. Very highly recommended.
The speakers are a notable difference from my old ones. And the bass is a wonderful new addition. Only issues is/was, I was unaware that I need to buy another sound card to make it "Surround" sound, but thats just me being naive. But Good product, and they look cool.
I bought this 5.1 speaker system for my computer, mostly to have the 5.1 capability for new games. This seems to be the most common problem among all these speaker systems. They are about what I expected from the description and reviews. The Good: They sound good and are easily loud enough for my 10'x10' computer room. Controls are good, although you must keep the front right speaker within reach if you plan to use the volume control, earphone jack, or power switch. The Bad: The cables are too short even for my small room. Ideally, they should use plain old speaker wire connectors so you don't have to spend a lot of money buying connectorized extension cables. Secondly, the vertical form factor makes them top heavy and easy to tip over, also a problem common to many other similar products.
Great sounding speakers, I can turn them very loud and get no fuzz. I know three other people that have purchased these speakers and none of them have any complaints about them as far as i know. For the price I dont believe a better set of speakers can be found.
